At The Lazy Leek we specialise in vegan street food using locally sourced, ethical produce. Over the past year we have been catering for events and selling our cakes at markets around Cardiff. We have now opened The Lazy Leek 'Shack' in the Kings Road Yard in Pontcanna, offering wholesome plant-based burgers and badass sides. We can't wait to share our food with all the lovely people of Cardiff!
We are a local family business and between us we’ve had experience catering at music festivals up and down the UK since 2009; running chalets in the French Alps and working in commercial kitchens. With all this experience behind us we thought it was time to start out on our own, and thus the Lazy Leek was born. With one of us being born and bred in Cardiff and the others now calling it home, we couldn’t think of a better place to start our venture.
Our passion is a love of creating and sharing wholesome, hearty and exciting food, in a way that looks after our remarkable planet. We strongly believe that cutting the meat and dairy out of your diet needn't cut out the taste, and we’re so excited to join the growing number of caterers in the Welsh capital showcasing exciting vegan cuisine. Everything on our menu is free from meat and dairy, we provide gluten free options where possible and are happy to get creative in order to meet other dietary requirements. We want to share with the world how easy, tasty and exciting eating vegan can be!
